My latest Costume Design Project

Hench looks at what it means to be strong and how, for boys and young men, being strong may not always be the best way to stay well.
Researched with young people in the North West, and supported by Healthy Young Minds, Hench is one of a series of single voice plays commissioned by M6 Theatre Company. These powerful contemporary stories, told through intimate, emotionally-charged performances, share the pressures young characters face at difficult moments in their lives.
The project is funded by CCG and the tour will be free provision to participating secondary schools in Rochdale.
The project consists of a monologue performance, followed by a facilitated workshop, to offer the opportunity for young people aged 13+ to discuss the issues raised, including anxiety disorders and male identity, and offer positive routes to further support if required.
